Economy? Stock Market?

No.

No.

No.

It's a chart of my weight loss since Christmas. The bottom axis is the month's of persistance, the vertical axis is in 2 pound increments.

I've been chipping away at the bod again. And yes, I'm learning some new stuff along the way. Revelations in fat calories, imagine that. I don't need to drown my salad or baked potato in cardiac coverings!

Dh and I have both lost 25 pounds, and even if I doubled that amount I sadly wouldn't be "done". I just know I'm doing the best thing for me right now, and all I can do is give it my best.

What are YOU doing for YOU right now?

Fitzy,
Good for both you and your Hubby on your weight loss! My Hubby and I are supposed to be losing weight, and have even joined the YMCA to get in shape. Nothing much yet to show for it though.
Love your blog. You don't know me yet, but you joined a Yahoo group that I belong to, so I followed the link on your post.
Have a great day!

Way to go!! 25 pounds is a lot of weight and it sounds like you are making some great choices and living a better life. Just think of all the health benefits and how much better you will feel and look.

Congrats on taking up rug hooking too! It is very addictive and lots of fun.

I never commented on your success that was reported in the past. I want to say congratulations. I know it is a hard battle, and you have performed very well indeed. I guess it is a good thing we no longer take breaks together. I would have been a deterent to your success.
Congratulations!!

Sad to say, I don't think that we're ever really 'done'. (and thank you for the lovely comments the other day. Are you any relation to Deanne Fitzpatrick? ....just curious ;-) )

Wow - congratulations! I have had losing weight as a goal, but sad to say, I haven't accomplished much this year. I am taking better care of myself - lotion and eating better and being more active, so hopefully the rest isn't too far behind.

Good for you!!! That is a great accomplishment. I've been eating oatmeal every day and trying to eat a cholesterol reducing diet. We'll see if it's been worth it once I see the doctor next month. I've actually grown to like the stuff.
