Hello Arizona!

Um...don't try that while driving! DH would have fussed at me if he knew I did it, lol! (He was in the car ahead of me!) It's not the clearest picture, but hey, it was at 70mph.

We stopped in San Bernardino on our driving cruise, my sister put us up for the night, thanks Sis!

Next on to Phoenix where we first stayed the evening and then I caught a plane out of there just in time to get to Orlando to see my oldest get her second degree from Full Sail University!

Race b-a-a-a-c-k to Phoenix, hop in the car and on to our new home for the closing on the purchase(the next day) Tuesday.

The furniture was delivered at 8am on the day promised,Wednesday. I love North American Van Lines, have used them a couple of times now! They were done by 4pm, and I was left with OMG, TONS of boxes.

I've finished the kitchen, and have started on my sewing room. I DO have my priorities, you know.

I "suppose" eating is more important than quilting....

If you have priorities, why'd ya do the kitchen first? huh? Never heard of take-out. ;o)

OMG, we have eaten out for the last two months. I don't care if we DON'T eat out for the next two. (Mind you, dh does most of the cooking these days, lol!)

70MPH? Wimp! ;) Actually, I don't blame you. When I moved, I had NEVER gone above 70, and that's when I was in a big hurry. I was good about following the 65 speed limit. But 70 in Arizona? You better be in the right lane! I was kinda "shaky" after trying to drive a whopping 79mph after we got married, but a couple months of living in Arizona fixed that for me. Now I can do 80, 85 without a second thought. :)

Anyhow, glad you're getting settled in - my quilting room was my top priority last year too. :) Yup, ate out a lot during those weeks - but the food was pretty tasteless, we were too tired from unpacking to care what we ate, so long as it was calories, thank you very much. :)

Yay, welcome home! Hey, you musta drove right past my house. Nah, you probably took the I-5. My sis says the weather is gorgeous there right now. Where are you? I come to the west valley from time to time, maybe we could hook up.

I always do the kitchen first. A girl's gotta eat, ya know.

Priorities hunh? I suspose a kitchen is important -- I mean, have to have snacks to keep up your energy for the important stuff!

Wow, sounds like you had a whirlwind couple of days there! So glad to hear you're getting settled in. Yep I'd have probably done the kitchen first too but then the sewing room would be IMMEDIATELY behind it. I never could understand all the people who talk about moving and how it's months before they get to setting back up their sewing space. Seemed to me like their priorities were MAJOR whacked! LOL!

I've done the sign picture thing but NEVER while driving!!!!! But now I think about it I have taken picture of other things while driving down the road in traffic so I guess I'm not such a safe driver after all, huh?
