Join me on my pity pot please

Just when I get too big for my britches...
...the sinus infection that I had been treating for antibiotics...

...turned into an emergency root canal today. My dental appointment was 1:00pm, my endodontist at 3:15pm, I just got home at 6:30pm.

...I start my new job tomorrow.

Please hug chipmunk cheeks gently today.

(I did get some stitching done while waiting and another neutral log cabin done today tho, lol..ouch, t'ain't much fun to smile)

Oh, bless your heart! Just what you didn't need the day before starting a new job.

I hope you can get a good night's rest, and feel better very soon.

Oh honey! Did you get something to help you sleep? Want a wake up call? Gentle hugs, and tomorrow - warm milkshakes and cool tea.

Oh, ouch! Now that was not great timing but it figures, right? Glad you got it taken care of and you can start feeling better. (this getting older is the PITS!)

Have a good day tomorrow, I will be thinking of you.

Awwww. Poor baby. I'm sorry for you. Hope you wake tomorrow miraculously healed, but if not, it won't be the end of the world if you have to call in sick. You've got good cause; I'm sure they'll understand. It happens.

Good luck.

Oh, gosh, this isn't very happy news, is it? Well, on the up side, you've gotten it taken care of today and will feel much better soon; it would have been worse if it had happened a day or two later. Hang in there and tough it out--maybe you'll be so excited about starting the new job, it won't bother you quit as much. Just don't take too many pain pills before you get to work--I don't think they'd be very impressed! LOL!

I can't stand that scrapey thing they do in root canal.. shudder shudder. It will certainly be an icebreaker tomorrow at the new job.

I am so sorry to hear that you had to have dental work the day before the big day.

OWWW! Very gentle (((hugs))) coming your way! I'll be thinking of you today as you start your new job while on the injured list. Maybe they'll take pity on you and not make you stay all day.

Haven't forgot your strips. Should get to the PO in the next few days.

Oh boy - bad timing - but you'll be feeling better very soon, and won't have to worry about THAT particular problem!

Good luck on the new job and quick recovery from dental repairs.

So e-mail me with info about the job... I don't have Sue to find out all the details; she's in Jackson and I'm in Portland. Lovely area - will be heading home a week from Thurs. Will send more pics too. Hugs, Bev
