Borders "ON" - check!

I have gotten the second set of border strips onto the Bippety Bop quilt pictured a few entries ago. I have also gotten the back pieced, ironed and ready to go. Just need to pick up some batting and get it sandwiched, hopefully this week. I think I will machine quilt with a varigated thread and mimick the wonky square pattern, getting smaller as it approaches the center. I think the outer border will be a utility grid pattern, I expect this quilt will be roughed up a bit.
