Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater

I'm a little slower than most in the sewing room...

I'm a little less-confident than many of my blog-sewing friends...

But I come skidding into the room with a Part 1 finish in Tonya's Winter Class!

I will make 3 or 4 of these "signs" and "mount" them on a green (maybe candy-striped) pole. I plan to piece the background free-style. I have two other signs to the flimsy-stage but it's slow-going considering the schedule I'm keeping of late.

Stay tuned, and don't give-up on me. I don't post too often, but I sure "think" about it!!

How cool! I didn't know there was a Santa Claus in Arizona. Now why did that come out wrong? :P

Oh, I LOVE this! And I love your description of sliding into the room with it and a big TA-DA.

You post -- I'll be here, no matter when it is. BTW -- it's not about the speed, it's about the fun and the love. (trust me, I'd give up some speed in exchange for either of the others) Enjoy what you are doing when you can and don't compare to others!

Oh -- and did I mention I LOVE your idea for your quilt!?! It's going to be such fun!

I stop looking and wow, you post!

I love the sign, love the fact that it looks so very, very perfect. And I love the TaDa! If you have less confidence that most, I am at the bottom of that ladder..........and I am beginning to think rightly so! Glad to have you back, don't stay away so long.

what a great sign. I love seeing what the members of this group came up with-gives me inspiration. Maybe next year. I'm always happy to hear from you-when ever you get a chance!

It's completely and totally wonderful! You are so very creative, the letters look great. I'd say you must be at the head of this class.

I hope you continue to work at this pace, the letters are great fun, aren't they? Still haven't finished anything from my Tonya class, but I'm working on lots of ideas.

Great idea! What fun, making up signposts for places that are personally (or seasonally) significant.
